How we decide what to publish, and how the site is funded.

Where our facts come from

• TfL's private hire driver licence page for fees and the application process.
• The TfL Private Hire Vehicle Driver's Handbook, version 1.0, 30 September 2021, for rules about licensing, vehicles, journeys, safety, behaviour, parking and equality.

If we cannot find something in an official source, we do not state it as fact.

Original writing, original questions

All guides and practice questions are written by us in our own words. We do not copy or reproduce official assessment questions, and we do not claim to know them.

Dates and corrections

Every guide shows when we last checked it. Fees and rules change, so use our pages as a starting point and confirm on TfL's site. If we get something wrong we correct it and update the date. Send corrections through the contact page.

Independence

PHVLondon is not affiliated with TfL or any operator, and is not paid by TfL or any operator for what we say.

Advertising and affiliate links
